We often start with a blank slate or elements provided by a responsive framework when designing Drupal sites. As designers and themers we have to consider structures inherent in all Drupal sites like regions, blocks, displays and views. This session will take a look at specific structures found in every Drupal 8 site. We'll discuss challenges when designing for the web and propose techniques that work with what Drupal output provides. We’ll take a look at the design process and how designing and theming fit in with building out a new Drupal 8 site. The session will propose solutions for incorporating the design process into a project.
